Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept returns?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.
For U.S. customers, returns are handled through our U.S. return address for a faster and more convenient process.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the rug arrives damaged or significantly different from the listing description. Please contact us via Etsy Messages before returning the item so we can provide return instructions.
As each rug is a unique handmade vintage piece, we encourage buyers to carefully review all photos, measurements, and descriptions before purchasing.
Is my product real?
Yes, all of our rugs are authentic handmade vintage Turkish rugs.
Each rug is a one-of-a-kind piece, handwoven using traditional techniques and crafted from natural wool. We carefully source our rugs from Turkey and professionally clean them before offering them for sale.
You will receive the exact rug shown in the listing photos—never a reproduction, machine-made rug, or duplicate item. Due to their vintage nature, minor signs of age and wear may be present and are part of each rug's unique character and authenticity.
How can I be sure about the colors of my rug / carpet?
We photograph all rugs in natural daylight to represent their colors as accurately as possible.
Because screen settings, monitor brightness, and mobile devices can display colors differently, slight variations may occur between the photos and the rug you receive.
If you would like a closer look before purchasing, we are happy to provide additional photos or a video in natural light. Our goal is to ensure you feel completely confident about your rug before placing your order.
How can I be sure of the dimensions of the rug / carpet?
We carefully measure every rug and provide both the listed size and the exact actual size in each listing.
Because our rugs are handmade vintage pieces, slight variations in shape and dimensions may occur, which is normal and part of their authentic character.
We recommend measuring your space before purchasing. If you need any additional measurements or would like help confirming the fit for your room, please send us a message—we are happy to assist before you place your order.
Will I incur any customs duty?
For U.S. customers, there are no additional customs duties or import fees upon delivery. We handle the import process so your rug arrives without unexpected charges.
For orders shipped to countries outside the United States, customs duties, taxes, or import fees may be charged by the destination country's customs authorities. These charges, if applicable, are the buyer's responsibility.
If you have any questions about shipping or import fees for your country, please feel free to contact us before placing your order.
Are the marks on the rug / carpet defects?
No. The variations, fading, and unique marks you may notice are part of the rug's authentic vintage character and are not considered defects.
Most of our rugs are decades old and have naturally developed a beautiful patina through years of use. These characteristics make each piece unique and add to its history and charm.
Any significant wear or condition details are clearly shown in the photos and described in the listing. Every rug is carefully inspected and professionally cleaned before shipping.
What if my rug / carpet is damaged during shipping?
If your rug arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photos of both the rug and the packaging.
We will work with you promptly to resolve the issue and, when appropriate, arrange a replacement, repair, or refund. All rugs are carefully inspected, professionally packaged, and shipped with tracking to help ensure safe delivery.
Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are committed to making sure your rug arrives safely and as described.
Can I use my rug / carpet immediately after receiving it?
Yes, your rug is professionally cleaned, inspected, and ready to use upon arrival.
Because rugs are folded for shipping, you may notice minor fold lines when first unpacking. These will naturally relax and flatten within a few days of use.
For best results, unroll the rug immediately upon arrival and allow it to air out. Any temporary creases will gradually disappear, leaving your rug looking its best.
How can I clean my rug / carpet?
For regular care, vacuum your rug gently without using a beater bar or rotating brush.
If a spill occurs, blot it immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this may damage the wool fibers and spread the stain.
For deep cleaning, we recommend using a professional rug cleaning service experienced with handmade wool rugs. Avoid machine washing, steam cleaning, bleach, or harsh chemicals, as these may affect the rug's natural fibers and colors.
With proper care, your vintage rug can be enjoyed for many years to come.
Can I buy Rug / carpet wholesale?
Yes, we offer wholesale opportunities for interior designers, retailers, decorators, hospitality projects, and bulk buyers.
Please contact us with your requirements, including preferred sizes, quantities, colors, or styles. We will be happy to share available inventory and provide customized pricing.
As our rugs are authentic vintage and one-of-a-kind pieces, availability varies and each collection is unique. We look forward to helping you find the right rugs for your project or business.
